At Hewitt, we believe that diversity is the mix and inclusion is making the mix work. Our robust firmwide diversity strategy focuses on providing an inclusive work environment for all associates, as well as developing a crossculturally competent organization.

Business Resource Groups

Business Resource Groups (BRGs) are Hewitt-sponsored organizations that provide a forum for associates with similar interests and backgrounds to meet to discuss experiences, challenges, and opportunities as they relate to working at Hewitt Associates. BRGs are fundamental to building respect and understanding for differences at Hewitt, and they play a strong role in our firm’s commitment to diversity.

Multicultural Mentoring Programs

We use mentoring in multiple ways to help develop our associates’ crosscultural competence:

  • Crosscultural Learning Partners Program pairs senior executives with less senior associates from a variety of backgrounds throughout the world.
  • Menttium Mentoring Program provides mentoring relationships for women in our organization with senior executives in other organizations.
  • The Mentoring Partnership, a program of TRIEC (Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council), provides our associates the opportunity to volunteer as mentors to new immigrants to Canada.

Diversity Sponsored Leadership Groups and Councils

Hewitt has several leadership groups and councils that work with our CEO and Executive Council on a regular basis. The groups include Women in Leadership, the Multicultural Leaders Council, and the LGBT Leadership Council. In addition, Diversity Councils in various countries and regions address local inclusion issues and set strategy for their country or region.
